Cheryl Cole may miss a planned duet with Gary Barlow for Children In Need because she is unwell.
According to news reports, the Take That star had been planning to sing with Cole at a Manchester event, called Children In Need Rocks, this Thursday (November 17th).
However, organisers say that Miss Cole is having problems with her throat and may miss what would be her first performance in the UK for months. The setback comes during a year that saw her unceremoniously axed as a judge on the US version of the X Factor.
Barlow joked that he was thinking of contingency plans for the event, saying: "She's ill. We're waiting to hear. I might just have to get on the piano and do a bit of Roll Out The Barrel."
It was recently reported that Simon Cowell has asked Miss Cole to rejoin the UK version of the X Factor as a mentor later in the series.
